Psalm 118 – Jubilee Bible 2000

O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good because his mercy endures for ever.

² Let Israel now say that his mercy endures for ever.

³ Let the house of Aaron now say, that his mercy endures for ever.

⁴ Let those that fear the LORD say now, that his mercy is eternal.

⁵ From a tight place I called upon JAH; and JAH answered me and set me in a wide place.

⁶ The LORD is for me; I will not fear what man can do unto me.

⁷ The LORD takes my part with those that help me; therefore I shall see my desire upon those that hate me.

⁸ It is better to wait upon the LORD than to wait upon man.

⁹ It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in princes.

¹⁰ All the nations compassed me about; but in the name of the LORD I will cut them off.

¹¹ They compassed me about; yea, they laid hold of me; but in the name of the LORD I will cut them off.

¹² They compassed me about like bees; they were quenched as the fire of thorns; for in the name of the LORD I will cut them off.

¹³ Thou hast thrust at me with violence that I might fall, but the LORD helped me.

¹⁴ JAH is my strength and song and is become my saving health.

¹⁵ The voice of singing and saving health is in the tents of the righteous; the right hand of the LORD does valiantly.

¹⁶ The right hand of the LORD is exalted; the right hand of the LORD does valiantly.

¹⁷ I shall not die, but live and declare the works of JAH.

¹⁸ JAH has chastened me sore, but he has not given me over unto death.

¹⁹ ¶ Open unto me the gates of righteousness; I will go in through them; I will praise JAH.

²⁰ This gate is of the LORD; the righteous shall enter in.

²¹ I will praise thee; for thou hast heard me and art become my saving health.

²² The stone which the builders rejected is become the head of the corner.

²³ This is the LORD’s doing; it is marvellous in our eyes.

²⁴ This is the day which the LORD has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.

²⁵ Save now, I beseech thee, O LORD; O LORD, I beseech thee, cause us now to prosper.

²⁶ Blessed be he that comes in the name of the LORD; from the house of the LORD we bless you.

²⁷ God is the LORD, who has shined on us; bind the sacrifice with cords, even unto the horns of the altar.

²⁸ Thou art my God, and I will praise thee; thou art my God, I will exalt thee.

²⁹ O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good, for his mercy endures for ever.

145 ¶ Aleph I will extol thee, my God, my king, and I will bless thy name for ever and ever.

² Beth Each day will I bless thee, and I will praise thy name for ever and ever.

³ Gimel Great is the LORD and greatly to be praised, and his greatness is unsearchable.

⁴ Daleth One generation shall praise thy works to another and shall declare thy mighty acts.

⁵ He I will speak of the beauty of the glory of thy majesty and of thy wondrous works.

⁶ Vau And men shall speak of the might of thy terrible acts, and I will declare thy greatness.

⁷ Zain They shall proclaim the memory of thy great goodness and shall sing of thy righteousness.

⁸ Cheth The LORD is gracious and full of compassion, slow to anger and of great mercy.

⁹ Teth The LORD is good to all; and his tender mercies shine over all his works.

¹⁶ ¶ Go and gather the elders of Israel together and say unto them, The LORD God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, of Isaac, and of Jacob, appeared unto me, saying, I have surely visited you and seen that which is done to you in Egypt,

¹⁷ and I have said, I will bring you up out of the affliction of Egypt unto the land of the Canaanite and the Hittite and the Amorite and the Perizzite and the Hivite and the Jebusite unto a land flowing with milk and honey.

¹⁸ And they shall hearken to thy voice, and thou shalt come, thou and the elders of Israel, unto the king of Egypt, and ye shall say unto him, The LORD God of the Hebrews has found us; therefore, we shall now go three days’ journey into the wilderness that we may sacrifice to the LORD our God.

¹⁹ For I am sure that the king of Egypt will not let you go except by a mighty hand.

²⁰ But I will stretch out my hand and smite Egypt with all my wonders which I will do in the midst thereof, and after that he will let you go.

²¹ And I will give this people grace in the eyes of the Egyptians, and it shall come to pass, that, when ye go, ye shall not go empty;

²² but every woman shall demand of her neighbour and of her that sojourns in her house, vessels of silver and vessels of gold and clothing; and ye shall put them upon your sons and upon your daughters, and ye shall spoil Egypt.

4 ¶ Then Moses answered and said, But, behold, they will not believe me, nor hearken unto my voice, for they will say, The LORD has not appeared unto thee.

² And the LORD said unto him, What is that in thy hand? And he said, A rod.

³ And he said, Cast it on the ground. And he cast it on the ground, and it became a serpent, and Moses fled from before it.

⁴ And the LORD said unto Moses, Put forth thy hand, and take it by the tail. And he put forth his hand and caught it, and it became a rod in his hand.

⁵ Therefore they will believe that the LORD God of their fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has appeared unto thee.

⁶ And the LORD said furthermore unto him, Now put thy hand into thy bosom. And he put his hand into his bosom, and when he took it out, behold, his hand was leprous as snow.

⁷ And he said, Put thy hand into thy bosom again. And he put his hand into his bosom again and plucked it out of his bosom, and, behold, it was turned again as his other flesh.

⁸ And it shall come to pass, if they will not believe thee, neither hearken to the voice of the first sign, that they will believe the voice of the latter sign.

⁹ And it shall come to pass, if they will not believe also these two signs, neither hearken unto thy voice, that thou shalt take of the water of the river and pour it upon the dry land; and the water which thou takest out of the river shall become blood upon the dry land.

¹⁰ ¶ Then Moses said unto the LORD, O my Lord, I am not eloquent, neither up until now, nor since thou hast spoken unto thy slave; but I am slow of speech and of a slow tongue.

¹¹ And the LORD said unto him, Who has made man’s mouth? Or who makes the dumb or the deaf or the seeing or the blind? Am not I the LORD?

¹² Now therefore go and I will be with thy mouth and teach thee what thou shalt say.

Возражения Моисея

4 Моисей ответил:

– А если они не поверят мне, не послушаются и скажут: «Господь не являлся тебе»?
² Тогда Господь сказал:
– Что у тебя в руке?
– Посох,– ответил он.
³ Господь сказал:
– Брось его на землю.
Когда Моисей бросил его на землю, тот превратился в змею, и Моисей отбежал от нее. ⁴ Тогда Господь сказал ему:
– Протяни руку и возьми ее за хвост.
Моисей протянул руку, схватил змею, и она превратилась у него в руке в посох.
⁵ – Господь сказал:
– Это для того, чтобы они поверили, что Господь, Бог их отцов, Бог Авраама, Бог Исаака и Бог Иакова, явился тебе.
⁶ Затем Господь сказал:
– Положи руку за пазуху.
Моисей положил руку за пазуху, а когда вытащил, она была белой от проказы^[b], как снег.
⁷ – Теперь опять положи ее за пазуху, – сказал Он.
Моисей опять положил руку за пазуху, и когда вытащил, она снова стала чистой, как остальное тело.
⁸ Господь сказал:
– Если они не поверят тебе и первое знамение их не убедит, они поверят второму. ⁹ А если не поверят двум знамениям и не послушают тебя, зачерпни воды из Нила и вылей на землю, и эта вода превратится в кровь.

– О Владыка, я не был красноречивым раньше и не стал им теперь, когда Ты заговорил со Своим слугой. Я говорю медленно и невнятно.
¹¹ Господь сказал ему:

12 ¶ Therefore, I beseech you brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies in living sacrifice, holy, well pleasing unto God, which is your rational worship.

² And be not conformed to this age, but be ye transformed by the renewing of your soul that ye may experience what is that good and well pleasing and perfect will of God.

³ Therefore I say through the grace given unto me, to all those that are among you not to obtain more knowledge than is prudent to know, but to obtain knowledge with temperance, each one according to the measure of faith that God has dealt.

⁴ For in the manner that we have many members in one body, nevertheless all the members do not have the same operation;

⁵ likewise many of us are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another.

⁶ So that having different gifts according to the grace that is given to us, whether prophecy, according to the measure of faith;

⁷ or ministry, in serving; or he that teaches, in doctrine;

⁸ he that exhorts, in exhortation; he that gives, let him do it in simplicity; he that presides, in earnest care; he that shows mercy, in cheerfulness.

⁹ Let love be without dissimulation, abhorring that which is evil, causing you to come unto that which is good;

¹⁰ loving one another with brotherly love, with honour preferring one another;

¹¹ not slothful in earnest care, but fervent in the Spirit, serving the Lord,

¹² rejoicing in hope, patient in tribulation, constant in prayer,

12 Поэтому я умоляю вас, братья, ради милости Божьей принесите ваши тела в живую жертву, святую и угодную Богу. Это и есть подобающее для вас служение Ему^[a]. ² Не приспосабливайтесь к образу жизни этого мира, но преображайтесь, обновляя ваш разум, чтобы вы сами могли постигать волю Божью, благую, угодную и совершенную.

³ По данной мне благодати я говорю каждому из вас: не воображайте о себе слишком много, судите о себе здраво, по мере той веры, которую Бог дал каждому. ⁴ Как у человека одно тело и в нем много членов, но у этих членов разное назначение, ⁵ так и все мы в Христе составляем одно тело, и все мы принадлежим друг другу. ⁶ И так как у нас есть различные дары, которые мы получили по данной нам благодати, то если у кого-то есть дар пророчества, пусть пророчествует в согласии с данной ему верой; ⁷ если это дар служить другим, пусть служит; если это дар быть учителем, пусть учит; ⁸ если это дар ободрять, пусть ободряет; если это дар помогать нуждающимся, пусть дает щедро; если это дар начальствования, пусть будет усерден; если это дар милосердия, пусть проявляет его с весельем.
⁹ Пусть ваша любовь будет искренней. Ненавидьте зло и держитесь добра. ¹⁰ Любите друг друга братской любовью, стремитесь оказывать уважение друг другу. ¹¹ Пусть ваше рвение не ослабевает, пламенейте духом в вашем служении Господу. ¹² Радуйтесь в надежде, будьте терпеливы в страданиях, постоянны в молитве.

⁴⁶ Not that anyone has seen the Father, except he who is of God, he has seen the Father.

⁴⁷ Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believes in me has eternal life.

⁴⁸ I AM the bread of life.

⁴⁹ Your fathers ate manna in the wilderness and are dead.

⁵⁰ This is the bread which comes down from heaven, that anyone may eat of it and not die.

⁵¹ I AM the living bread which came down from heaven; if anyone eats of this bread, they shall live for ever; and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.

⁵² The Jews therefore contended among themselves, saying, How is he able to give us his flesh to eat?

⁵³ Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Unless ye eat the flesh of the Son of man and drink his blood, ye shall have no life in you.

⁵⁴ Whosoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day.

⁵⁵ For my flesh is food indeed, and my blood is drink indeed.

⁵⁶ He that eats my flesh and drinks my blood abides in me, and I in him.

⁵⁷ As the living Father has sent me, and I live by the Father, so he that eats me, he shall also live by me.

⁵⁸ This is the bread which came down from heaven; not as your fathers ate manna and are dead; he that eats of this bread shall live eternally.

⁴⁶ Может ли кто-либо из вас уличить Меня во грехе? Если же Я говорю истину, то почему вы Мне не верите? ⁴⁷ Тот, кто принадлежит Богу, слышит, что Бог говорит. Вы не слышите Меня потому, что вы не принадлежите Богу.

Иисус говорит о Своем вечном существовании

⁴⁸ Бывшие там иудеи стали говорить Иисусу:
– Ну разве мы не правы, когда говорим, что Ты самарянин^[a], и притом в Тебе демон!
⁴⁹ – Я не одержим, – ответил Иисус, – Я чту Моего Отца, а вы бесчестите Меня. ⁵⁰ Я не ищу славы Себе, но есть Тот, Кто ищет ее для Меня, пусть Он и судит. ⁵¹ Говорю вам истину: кто соблюдает слово Мое, тот никогда не увидит смерти^[b].
⁵² Тогда иудеи закричали:
– Теперь мы точно знаем, что Ты одержим демоном! Авраам умер, и все пророки умерли, а Ты говоришь, что кто исполняет Твое слово, тот никогда не умрет^[c]. ⁵³ Неужели Ты больше нашего отца Авраама, который умер? И пророки умерли. А кем Ты Себя считаешь?
⁵⁴ Иисус ответил:
– Если Я славлю Самого Себя, то слава эта ничего не значит. Меня прославляет Мой Отец, Которого вы называете своим Богом, ⁵⁵ хотя вы Его и не знаете. Но Я Его знаю, и если бы Я сказал, что не знаю Его, то был бы таким же лжецом, как и вы. Но Я знаю Его и исполняю Его слово. ⁵⁶ Ваш отец Авраам радовался при мысли, что увидит Мой день, и он его увидел и был счастлив.
⁵⁷ – Да Тебе нет и пятидесяти лет, – говорили Ему иудеи, – и Ты видел Авраама?
⁵⁸ Иисус сказал:
– Говорю вам истину, еще до того, как Авраам родился, Я ЕСТЬ!^[d]
59 Тогда они схватили камни, чтобы бросить в Него, но Иисус скрылся и вышел из храма^[e].
